Read me in the New York Times!
And drop it in your chat
You’re reading At The End Of the Day. I’ve missed you! If you’re new here, welcome.
We interrupt this vacation to bring you my essay in today’s New York Times
I wrote about group chats but it’s really an ode to friendship. In case you can’t tell from how often I return to this topic, I really think it’s an essential building block of health, happiness and community.
As usual, I had way too many thoughts to cram into a slim 800 words. I’ll likely return to the topic to write more in a future newsletter.
But for today, I’ll leave you with what I wrote for the Times. Click through to read it. And of course, drop it in your group chat! Don’t have one? Send it to a few friends and see what happens.
With big thanks to Indrani Sen, who edited me with kindness and patience.
Sent from a cabin on the west coast (sap in my hair, don’t care!). Now back to being mostly unplugged. See you in September,
Hannah
You need this in your life
P.S. Julie Lalonde, whose work and inimitable wisdom I featured in a newsletter and podcast, is offering another FREE bystander intervention training. It’s a virtual, one-hour webinar and it’s coming up soon. Click here to register.
